Its all about our farmers as we prepare for Cayman Thanksgiving at Farmer’s Market on Saturday 1st December from 7:00am at the Farmer’s Market at the Cricket Grounds in George Town! There is also a brand new Farmer’s Market at the West Bay Heritage Park. Everyone is invited to come out and support our local farmers and market vendors by purchasing local produce for your Cayman Thanksgiving meals while spending quality time with their families, greeting a visitor to our Islands or simply catching up with old friends.
Local farmers and market vendors will be on site to serve and sell fresh local produce including pumpkin, fish, breadfruit, cassava, yam, bananas, poultry, eggs, meats, seasoning, peppers and many other items to help you prepare for your Thanksgiving meal.
Our passionate and knowledgeable farmers will happily tell you where your food comes from and how its produced. Cayman is making great strides in agriculture and food security. Variety, quality and quantity continues to improve thanks to the dedicated men and women who ensure we have healthy food to enjoy from their farms to our tables.
